Touch-A-Truck for Career Day
Touch-A-Truck for Career Day

For career week, our school counselor organizes Touch-A-Truck for our students. Representatives from the fire department, police department, utility companies and more come in to talk about their careers and show off their cool trucks! It is a highlight of the year for our Wildcats.

This year, Career Week is scheduled for March 17-21st. Students will have the opportunity to learn from parents and community members about different jobs as well as participate in Touch-A-Truck again.

Safety Patrol

We are thrilled to introduce our newly-formed Safety Patrol!

Safety Patrol is a group of 4th and 5th graders who were selected to represent Whitesides because they demonstrate STARS (Safety, On-Task, Appropriate, Respectful and taking care of School Property) behaviors. Their job is to make sure students are following STARS expectations at the beginning of each day and monitoring the hallways for safety.
