From the Assistant Principal

Introducing our New Assistant Principal...Shauntel Foreman!

I am grateful and proud to serve as the Assistant Principal at Mamie P. Whitesides and to be part of such a caring and dedicated community. This is my seventh year at Whitesides and I have the privilege to work alongside amazing staff.

The best part of my job is seeing our students each day. Their excitement, curiosity, and growth are what make this work so rewarding. I also love watching the meaningful relationships that are built throughout our school, whether it's between staff members, staff and students, or staff and families. I believe that strong relationships are the foundation of a successful school community.

When I'm not at school, you'll likely find me traveling, spending quality time with my family or on Facetime with my niece, Kristen. These moments help me recharge and remind me of the importance of creating lasting memories and meaningful connections, both at home and at school.

My door is always open, and I look forward to building lasting relationships with our students, families, and staff the WILDCAT WAY!
