From the Principal

Hey, Wildcats!

My name is Hannah Bodie, and I am incredibly honored and excited to serve as the principal of Mamie P. Whitesides Elementary School this year! This is my 17th year in education and my sixth year at Whitesides, and I truly couldn't imagine a better place to call home.

The best part of my job is spending time with our amazing students, dedicated staff, and supportive families. I love watching our Wildcats learn, grow, and celebrate their successes each day.

When I'm not at school, you'll usually find me spending time with my family, reading a good book, or traveling and exploring new places.

I can't wait to meet our newest Wildcats, reconnect with returning families, and make this an incredible year filled with learning, laughter, and unforgettable memories. It's going to be a fantastic school year—see you soon!
